Saturday 19th, Day 111 Night

After the first dream I slept. I didn't entirely understand, but I slept. I campaigned and I met people, and I gave the boys instructions and I ran the bakery. I thought about it at odd moments when my mind wasn't circling around something else, but I slept.

The past week or so though, not as much.
At first it was just snatches of dreams that I couldn't remember.

Things have been busy though. I've actually been spending a lot of time with my parents. They're extremely proud that I'm trying to serve my community and have been helping me campaign, my mother especially. Evidently she went to see Doctor Constantine at some point a few weeks ago and he prescribed her something new. She seems to be moving easier and she's happy to be getting out more.

I've spent time talking to people. Arguing. Debating. Soothing. Explaining myself and my views. And I've been very careful to never put Cassandra down. Something that I bet she isn't doing for me. But I've gained new votes- some of them I fought damn hard for.

But every time I sleep I hear that voice.

Sometimes its Verdandi. But other times....
Other times I hear that laugh. The clear noise, ringing through the night like a bell, while a dark haired woman skips down the street.

Now that the election date has been set we're coming down to the last couple days. The last few chances to gather votes. Working my ass off for every one. Think I've talked to nearly every person in this town.

Every time I walk past the Tavern I think about going in. Saying hello. Asking her out again. Seeing if I'm still....so intoxicated by her.

But at the same time, every time I see a laughing woman with dark hair out of the corner of my eye....

I find myself staring at her.
