Day 151, Thursday, October 29
Shadows are long, runnin' away east
Near the Marks ranch
I had fun with 'Ri. It brought me up, listenin' t'that rock music 'a hers, lettin' myself sing 'long with it. I spent the next couple 'a days singin' little bits 'a what I could remember t'myself, 'till Rob was glarin' at me and I had t'stop. Still, I was hummin' it under my breath. Who'd 'v guessed that music could stick with you like this, runnin' in loops through your head?
I bin takin' walks out 'a town lately, just down t'the ranch t'watch the animals wander 'round fer a bit. Figure it'd be a good place t'run into 'Ri or Luke sometime.
Tonight, though, it got darker 'n I thought pretty quick. I sort 'a drifted off in my head, singin' t'myself one 'a 'Ri's songs 'n dint see the purple sweepin' in from the east. It's pretty well full dark 'afore I can even see the bridge, and I wonder if I ought t'just slip my skin and spend a night out 'a town. There's some good bushes 'round here, hidden 'nough that I can strip and leave my clothes and bar here. I bin carryin' that 'round with me, figurin' it might give me long 'nough t'run from whatever might attack me out here. 'Cept the hound-god, 'cause I know just how dumb it is t'think you can run from a dog in this terrain.
I find one 'a the thickets I was thinkin' 'v and start strippin' down, foldin' my clothes nice and careful.
[Open to Gaueko and Lilith]

Date: 2009-08-09 07:01 pm (UTC)Oh. Oh, heck. Lily's smilin' up under me and even with everythin', with the hound-god just outside a thin layer 'a canvas 'n men lookin' 'round and with what happened last time, even with all that I'm suddenly very aware that I ain't got a stitch on and she ain't wearin' much more. She's noticed too and she moves about tryin' t'get out from under me. Looked like you could use a hand," she says with a blush.
Oh, heck. I push myself up quick 'n look 'round fer somethin' t'cover myself with, grabbin' one 'a her cushions. I look at the wall 'a the tent, but there's nothin' t'say how I got in here. I look at Lily, but she ain't givin' me no clues - she just smells kind 'v amused. Those same undertones make my nose wrinkle, though - sourness, and somethin' like hot metal. I glance again at the wall. How come he ain't come after me? "Um. Thanks."

And where's your strange friend, Conley, I believe was his name?" Making sure to emit the pheromones of a female ready to mate,I take his hands in mine and look in his eyes, "I'm just glad to see you again, John. That dog didn't bite you did it?"I ask, brows knitting in concern.

And where's your strange friend, Conley, I believe was his name?"Oh, heck. As grateful as I am, I dunt want t'explain any 'a this. And she smells like sex, like she wants me, and it's cloyin' and strong and I sneeze as she says "I'm just glad to see you again, John. That dog didn't bite you did it?"
I shake my head, tryin' t'clear it. "No, Miss, it dint. And I ain't seen Conley since - " since that night with us three - "fer a while."

Date: 2009-08-19 04:15 am (UTC)"No, Miss, it dint. And I ain't seen Conley since - " since that night with us three - fer a while." he says, clearly embarrassed at the mention. I hold my smile in wondering if it was because of what happened with them or that he liked it. My poor, poor pup. I only saw him in his wolf form briefly tonight, Oohh how I'd love to see it again. I prefer that to human anyway.
"I haven't seen him either," I say tossing him some clothes and shoes as I sit on the chest and sigh. "I was hoping I'd see you again though," I look up at him, "I mean, Not like last time," I say quickly, letting my face heat. I usually stay out front and don't work back here, but it was you I thought about later. I just wanted to see you again."When I look back up, he's dressed and I give him a small smile.
"It will be safer for you to go out through the front, I think." I stand and walk over to him. We're close to the same height so I only lean against him a little and press my lips more firmly against his and then stand back and smile. "Stay safe,I hope to see you again soon, but if its in public, I promise to pretend not to know you." I say, lips turning down briefly before I blush and smile as if to hide sadness. I open the door and gesture out, "I'm sure you're eager to be on your way.It was good to see you.I'll walk you out if you don't remember the way." The way he ran out last time, he might not. Though his sense of smell might help him find the way.

Date: 2009-08-19 09:42 pm (UTC)"I haven't seen him either," she says straightenin' up and tossin' some clothes at me. She sits down 'n sighs as I turn my back 'n struggle into 'em. They're a bit tight, and the shoes 'r a bit big, but they fit. It's weird, her havin' guy's clothes 'round. "I was hoping I'd see you again though," she says as I kneel down t'tie the shoes. "I mean, Not like last time," 'n she blushes. It's weird, 'cause she smells like blushin', but with everythin' it's wrong, like someone givin' a good laugh when they've stubbed their toe. I mutter somethin' and stand up. "I usually stay out front and don't work back here, but it was you I thought about later. I just wanted to see you again."
I clear my throat. "That's kind 'a you miss," 'specially with me throwin' up in her room, but, well, I dint think her sort 'a woman got thinkin' on guys like she's sayin'. But she stand up 'n kisses me, and so I stop thinkin' 'bout it. It will be safer for you to go out through the front, I think."
She frowns then and turns away. "Stay safe, I hope to see you again soon, but if its in public, I promise to pretend not to know you." She sounds sad 'bout that, but really it's what I want. What if she said somethin' in front 'a 'Ri? 'R Tess, and that thought makes me shudder. She opens the door. "I'm sure you're eager to be on your way. It was good to see you. I'll walk you out if you don't remember the way."
I roll my shoulders, not meetin' her eyes. "That - that's okay, Miss Lily. I can walk myself out." She really does look sad. "But I - thanks, I mean. Really."
