Was trying not to sound too pissed about the nickname, but I guess it didn't work. I sigh little and open my mouth to tell her it doesn't bother me really, but dammit, it does. A little. "Its just that-- look, I know it's a godawful silly name. But anything you make it into just seems...sillier." If I were standing up, I'd run a hand through my hair.
She kisses my hand and tells me she wouldn't make me do the wash, and of course it wouldn't be making me, just like I'm not making her take me in. "So you're going to do the cooking and the laundry both, huh sweetheart? What is it you're keeping me around for, again?" And I try to say it like a joke, because I know she's just being nice.
