Backing up until I feel Mab's leg at my back, I lean against her mount and consider this unlikely pair. "Where were you to meet your wife?" I ask Iago. Perhaps we passed the meeting place in our travels. "And your company," I look at Benedict, "Where did you see them last?" That might give us a hint as to what led us here.
I glance down the trail they were on. Wonder where that leads.
