When I mention the tower, she all but tries to cower against me.

"Oh, no. Mama used to tell me bad things happened at the tower." I look towards the break in the trees where I can just see it. Rose seems most anxious, a low thrum in my mind. The tower, Mother, get to the tower we must. I have no reason to distrust my own child, so I sigh.

"That is the direction I am heading, but perhaps you can come with me, and we shall find your grandmother on the way?" I offer.

The child greets Rose, who is still playing at sleeping, and asks about her eyes. "They are green, like the forest's carpet." I nod towards the lush undergrowth that grows moss like and plush. "And pleased to meet you Ylva. I am called Wanda."

"Your cloak's like mine. Red's a good colour. It keeps away bad things." Smile a little, but shake my head. "Red is a good colour in case you get lost, it helps people to find you." I say practically, rubbing Rose's back again. "But the brightness can also call the predators." I am not sure if predator or prey talks to me right now. It is not Kent, for he does not sleep... but if dead gods can dream, who knows what else can.

Look up the path and decide nothing will get accomplished standing here all day. "You are welcome to walk with us, if you like." I say, touching a hand lightly to the hilt on my sowrd as I start to take a few steps away from Ylva towards the direction of the tower.
