Gar explains that he doesn't remember any of us expect that I look familiar, 'Ri remembers me but not Gar, and I seem to have no memory lapse whatsoever.
"I guess that is really lucky for us, don't you agree?" I shrug a bit and look around the bar. "Wish I knew why some people forgot everything, some forgot little things, and some seemed unaffected. Don't know why I managed to luck out... if you could call it luck." I say quietly, thinking of the blank look Miao gave me when I tried to explain that we were lovers. "Haven't seen a pattern yet. If I figure it out, I will clue you in."
Gar winces at the plucked feather, but as I thought, it doesn't seem to hurt him much. He likens it to getting a hair yanked out. He studies it for a moment, then with a grin, hands it to 'Ri. "Here! A gift. Maybe it will bring you luck.""It's gorgeous... Thanks." I grin at 'Ri. "Perhaps you can figure out a way to duplicate the colour, it would look smashing on you." I tease, cocking my head and wondering how she would look with black hair.
"You can yank out another later if you want one." Gar says with a impish grin, and I shake my head. "Thanks, but ... I have the luck of the Irish, no one ever said it was good luck." I say, instantly knowing I got that saying from someone else, but I can't quite remember who.
