I might have had more stamina as Micah, but I would not have kept up. I push myself into effort, and I think if I was just a jaguar I couldn't have done this, but part of me is Tepeyollotl, Heart of the Mountain, and where my great feet land the ground echoes as if it were hollow. And I know these meadows (then love me) and the rest of this place, which is as much mine as it is anyone's.

A world is going to end tonight, one way or another. A part of me that shivers deep inside, in the dark where not even the Tez-part looks, says that it may not be what any of us think.
