"Take CeCe in for a tea party. She'll love it, and have her ask for the faerie wings."
My brow arches and my lips curve into a smile, considering the idea. Then I sigh, "It is a shame she does not have wings of her own." All of my others were deamonlings, or viewed that way depending on the one telling the tale. She is my little love none the less.
Marbas mentions Iblis and looks contemplative for a time, making me wonder what it is he dares not say. "Well he was a god, not a man," I say simply with another sigh. My Iblis, how far you do fall. Do not break your agreement in your sorrow... This is why I refused to agree to any requests, commands, or demands. Somehow I slipped into doing as they wished, regardless. The very idea makes the blood in this body boil.
"Hearing of her adventures would be fun, I think," I agree, the sound of giggling ringing in my ears again.
Looking up, I see people walking into the Doctors office. Smiling brightly, I wave and the man pauses and looks my way, causing his wife to run into him. After following his gaze, she waves back with a tight smile, dragging him through the door by his shirt.
Marbas kisses my warm palm and I smile up at him. "How is your bee-keeper? Have you seen him recently?"
"No," I say, shaking my head. He likely thinks he scared sweet Lily away. Though he hasn't forgotten her and continues to look," I smile wickedly, "I am content to leave it at that for awhile." Nuzzling his neck, I murmur against his skin, "Shall we go home until the little one arrives? We have awhile." If I cannot have my Marbas back, I will toy with the weaker man.
