I set my cup down and smile, enjoying the view as I reply. "There was a lot of chaos in the street and I didn't want to stay out there." Gesturing to Romana, I say, "I met her in a doorway, along with a few other people and they didn't want want to stay outside either. A purple-haired woman offered to let us in and it sounded like a good idea."
We talk about strange things happening in town and I ask if that's frequent enough to be normal. She nods and I do too, not sure what to think. "Right. So, did you lose your memory too?" It sounds like as good a question as any.
